Charles Halpern, Founder and Chief Investment Officer

Charles is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer for Dalvix Capital, LLC. He is responsible for the Firm's day-to-day operations as well as all of the trading and strategy development.

After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, SP, Brazil, Mr. Halpern started his career as an Analyst with Banco Central do Brasil, Brazil’s Central Bank.

Before starting Dalvix Capital in 2021, Mr. Halpern successfully ran the cosmetics factory that his grandmother founded. In 2004 Mr. Halpern assumed control of the family business and increased revenues by more than eleven times during his tenure as CEO. In this role, Mr. Halpern was responsible for all company’s operations, managing a direct team of 20 employees and 80 distributors.

In 2013, Mr. Halpern sold the business. Since that time, Mr. Halpern has focused on managing his family’s assets, investing in a well-diversified portfolio of equities, fixed-income, active futures trading, options, commodities, real estate, and alternative investments.

With distinction, Mr. Halpern was awarded a Diploma Program in Finance from the University of California, Berkley and holds the Series 3 National Commodities Futures license.
